Havana, 8 February 2025 (SPS) - Several Cuban universities have hosted lectures on the struggle of the Sahrawi people, as part of the preparations to commemorate the 49th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic. These events were organized under the supervision of the Sahrawi Embassy in Havana.
The lectures provided an opportunity for participating professors and university students to learn about the liberation journey of the Sahrawi people. They also gained insight into the various stages of the Sahrawi people's struggle to achieve their right to self-determination, through the screening of documentaries and photo exhibitions held on the occasion.
The three lectures were marked by a wave of solidarity and support for the heroic struggle waged by the Sahrawi people under the leadership of the Polisario Front.
