Shaheed Al-Hafed, January 10, 2025 (SPS) – A high-level labor delegation from the Bank of Algeria, led by Secretary General Mr. Zaimoun Amhamed and including his office and regional directors from southern Algeria, arrived for a work and solidarity visit to the institutions of the Sahrawi Republic and the Sahrawi refugee camps.
The delegation was welcomed by the Secretary General of the Sahrawi Workers Union, Salama Bashir, and the Governor of the wilaya of El Aaiun, Ghouth Mamouni. The authorities and community of the the daira of Amgala hosted a grand public reception for the delegation, featuring speeches that emphasized the depth and strength of Algerian-Sahrawi solidarity at all levels. This solidarity was notably expressed through trade union activities during the visit, as the speakers highlighted.
The delegation included the Secretary General of the organization and members of its central office, as well as the regional directors from southern Algeria (East, Center, and West). This visit served as an opportunity to discuss various common issues and strengthen future cooperation.
