Shaheed Hafed, January 4, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic , Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, expressed his satisfaction with the distinguished relations that unite us with our sister Algeria, which have seen intensified communication, coordination, and cooperation this year across all fields and areas, among various institutions and bodies, including governmental, parliamentary, party, and civil society levels.
President Brahim Ghali extended special greetings of appreciation to Algeria for its honorable role at the United Nations Security Council, congratulating it on assuming the presidency for this month. He highlighted Algeria's steadfast defense of just causes, particularly the Palestinian and Sahrawi issues, and its adoption of clear principled positions in service of justice, peace, stability, African issues, and the reform of the Security Council, among others.
The President also renewed his satisfaction with the bonds of brotherhood, friendship, neighborliness, and shared destiny that connect the two brotherly peoples in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the Sahrawi Republic. He affirmed the commitment to strengthening all forms of cooperation and coordination with neighboring countries to enhance avenues for peace, security, stability, prosperity, and welfare in the region.
