9 June School, November 26, 2024 (SPS) - Sahrawi National Council commemorated today, Tuesday, its 49th anniversary, attended by members of the national secretariat of the Polisario Front and government.
The anniversary celebration included a speech by Mr. Hamma Salama, a member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, President of the Sahrawi National Council, who welcomed the attendees and discussed the various phases the Council has undergone since its founding to the present.
In his remarks, Prime Minister Mr. BUshraya Hamoudi Beyoun addressed the government’s work program as part of the activities of the spring session that opened this morning alongside the anniversary celebration.
Additionally, a solidarity gathering was organized at the Council's headquarters in support of the heroes of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army and the Sahrawi civilian prisoners held in Moroccan prisons.
The event also featured the opening of a photo exhibition at the Council's headquarters showcasing its activities.
