Algeria Ambassador in Angola reaffirms his country's firm stance on supporting the Sahrawi people's legitimate struggle

Luanda (Angola), November 20, 2024 (SPS) - Mr. Abdel Hakim Mihoubi, the Algerian Ambassador to the Republic of Angola, reaffirmed that his country is committed to defending just causes and the legitimate rights of peoples, similar to the struggles of the Sahrawi and Palestinian peoples. He noted that Algeria categorizes such positions as "loyalty to the principles of the glorious November Revolution."

During a celebration organized by the Algerian embassy in the Angolan capital Luanda to mark the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Great Algerian Revolution of November, Ambassador Mihoubi stated that Algeria, which honors the sacrifices of its loyal people every year, remains faithful to those sacrifices by continuing to support the legitimate rights of peoples to self-determination and rejecting all forms of colonial domination.

Regarding the legitimate struggle of the Sahrawi people, Mr. Mihoubi indicated that his country is committed to implementing relevant international legality as per the Charter of the United Nations and the foundational law of the African Union.
