Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), September 13, 2024 (SPS) - Minister of Public Health, Salek Baba Hassana, has taken part in a high-level meeting focused on evaluating joint health programs and exchanging health information among African health ministers, held Thursday in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
The meeting, organized by the African Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), reviewed several experiences from African countries in tackling diseases and preventing them, exchanging health expertise, and discussing health policies aimed at enhancing management mechanisms and developing the African health system across various health domains.
The Public Health Minister was accompanied by a delegation that included Lamin Baali, the permanent representative to the African Union, Dumaha Mohamed Ambarak, the central director of medical care at the Ministry of Health, and Takbir Al-Qaid Saleh, who is in charge of the African Union at the Ministry of Health.
