Kiel (Germany) - The office of the Polisario Front in Germany organized a lecture titled "Colonial Violence and International Indifference: Arms Deals for Morocco and the Suffering of the Sahrawi People."
This event is part of a wide-ranging awareness campaign aimed at highlighting the Sahrawi cause and garnering more international support.
Ms. Najat Hendi, the Polisario Front's representative in Germany, delivered a comprehensive presentation on Western Sahara, pointing out the negative role played by certain European countries, especially France, in perpetuating the conflict through ongoing arms deals with Morocco.
The Sahrawi diplomat explained that these deals directly contribute to prolonging the suffering of the Sahrawi people and pose an obstacle to any efforts aimed at achieving peace in the region, calling for an urgent review of European policies regarding this issue.
As part of the awareness campaign organized by the Polisario Front's office in cooperation with several supporting entities, Germany will witness a series of political and cultural events in various German provinces in the coming weeks, aimed at increasing awareness of the Sahrawi cause and enhancing international support for it.
