Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories) , 3 June 2024 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted supply and support bases of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes sector, causing "heavy casualties in lives and equipment" in their ranks, according to the military statement issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Commissariat of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army on Monday.
The statement highlighted that advanced detachments of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army carried out "concentrated bombardments that targeted an enemy supply headquarters in the Amheibes Ar-Ramth area of the Mahbes sector, as well as a support base belonging to the Moroccan army in the Ankhailet Laarran area of the same sector."
The attacks by the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army continue, targeting the strongholds of the Moroccan occupation forces "which suffered heavy casualties in lives and equipment" along the sand wall and rear bases such as support headquarters, command centers and other military targets, the statement added.
