Shaheed El Hafed, May 1, 2024 (SPS) - The General Union of Workers of Saguia el-Hamra and Rio de Oro (UGTSARIO ) has congratulated workers on their International Day, which falls on May 1st of each year.
In a statement, issued Wednesday by the Union, it emphasizes that workers around the world are in dire need of defending the values of justice, equality, and respect for all conventions and laws in force, and not succumbing to the policy of double standards in dealing with our national and international issues.
The Union also salutes the workers in Western Sahara, considering that this year is characterized by unprecedented circumstances in the history of our people. The challenges are numerous, and the requirements of the struggle are vast and diverse, especially in this post-November 13, 2020 era, which marks the resumption of armed struggle.
