Logroño (La Rioja) April 7, 2024 (WAS) - The first edition of the Solidarity Marathon in Support of the Sahrawi Cause was launched on Sunday morning in Logroño, the capital of the Spanish province of La Rioja.
The event is organized by the General Union of Workers with the participation of several political formations in La Rioja. It is attended by politicians, members of the regional council, the former president of the province, representatives of civil society organizations, the Solidarity Committee with the Sahrawi Cause, and representatives of the Red Cross.
The first edition was attended by the representative of the Polisario Front in La Rioja, Mr. Mohamed Labat Mustafa, and several members of the Sahrawi community in Logroño.
The event is joined by a large number of participants who have come from various cities in La Rioja, declaring their support, both young and old, for solidarity with the struggle of the Sahrawi people for self-determination and freedom.
