Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), 14 March 2024 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted the headquarters of the occupation forces in the Mahbes sector, causing significant losses in terms of lives and equipment.
A military statement issued by the political commissariat of the SPLA highlighted that "within the framework of the liberation war waged by the fighters of the Sahrawi Army, units of the army carried out a bombardment that targeted the command center of the Mahbes sector, which is under the control of the Moroccan occupation forces."
The targeted headquarters, the statement adds, housed a number of commanding officers of the occupation army, and as a result of these operations, significant losses were inflicted, creating a state of panic and fear among the enemy soldiers of various ranks.
The same source emphasized that the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army continues its daily military operations against the Moroccan occupation forces, highlighting the failure of the occupation's defense system, including its arsenal and technology, in repelling the attacks of the Sahrawi Army soldiers.
