Shaheed Al-Hafed, February 27, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received a congratulatory message from his Nicaraguan counterpart, Mr. José Daniel Ortega, on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the declaration of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
In his message, José Daniel Ortega expressed his sincere congratulations to the President of the Republic and to the Sahrawi people, saying, "It is with great pride that I extend to you, on behalf of myself and on behalf of the Nicaraguan people and the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, our sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the declaration of the Sahrawi Republic."
The message adds, "On this historic and unforgettable day, we reaffirm the unwavering commitment of the people and government of Nicaragua to defending the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and the sovereignty of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic."
