Shahid Al-Hafed, November 28, 2023 (SPS) - A delegation from the African National Congress (ANC) embarks today on a visit to Sahrawi refugee camps, during which the ANC delegation will learn about the reality of the Sahrawi people and the functioning of Sahrawi State institutions and the Polisario Front.
The visit of the ANC delegation, which includes 12 members led by the Deputy Secretary-General of the party, constitutes an opportunity to renew support and solidarity with the Sahrawi people and their just cause, as well as to strengthen the historical relations that bind the African National Congress Party (ANC) with the Polisario Front, which date back to the years of struggle against colonialism and racial discrimination.
As part of the visit’s agenda, the delegation will have an extensive meeting with Sahrawi Officials and will visit the wilaya of Bojdour to inspect the functioning of some institutions.
According to the agenda of the visit, there will be a public and official reception for the ANC delegation in the wilaya of Auserd, and they will also organize a seminar to exchange experiences with their Polisario Front and the Sahrawi state counterparts at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Shahid Al-Hafed.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation will be received by the President of the Republic and the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, at the Presidency of the Republic.
