Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps), January 1, 2012 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Frente Polisario, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, received Saturday the legal documents of the Thirteenth Congress, held in the liberated Tifariti from Dec 15 to 22, in the presence of members of the National Secretariat and government.
The Congress Presidency delivered its legal documents to Secretary-General of the Polisario Front as required by the requirements of the Law and as provided in the Article 67 of the Polisario Basic Law namely the Basic Law, constitutional amendments, programme of national action, the final communiqué, messages and recommendations and official record signed by the Congress Presidency and heads of committees.
The President Mohamed Abdelaziz praised the great efforts and well-done work made by the 13th Congress’s Presidency and heads of committees, which culminated in the success of the Thirteenth Congress of the Polisario Front.
He also congratulated the Saharawi people on the great success achieved by the Polisario 13th Congress, pointing to the spirit of solidarity and cooperation that characterized the Congress despite the tendentious propaganda pursued by Moroccan media to disrupt the Congress.
It is noteworthy that the Congress Presidency gave, immediately after the end of the Congress, enough time for heads of committees to the documentation and regulation of the 13th Congress documents. (SPS)
