Bir Lehlou (Saharawi Republic) 19 march 2021 (SPS)- The President of the Saharawi Republic and Secretary general of Polisario front, Brahim Ghali, sent a letter of condolences to Mrs. Samia Suluhu Hassan, Vice-President of the Republic of Tanzania, on the sad occasion of the passing of the late President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli, who passed away on March 17th.
“It was with a deep sadness and sorrow that, I have learnt the demise of H.E. Dr. John Pombe Joseph Magufuli President of the United Republic of Tanzania and Chairman of Chama Cha Mapinduzi, on Wednesday 17 March, 2021 in Dar Es Salaam,” the letter reads.
“On Behalf of the Government and Saharawi People, and on my own behalf I wish to express our sincere condolences to You personally, and to the Government and People of the United Republic of Tanzania, particularly, the bereaved family for this loss,” President Brahim Ghali stressed.
He further indicated that “H.E. Dr. John Pombe Joseph Magufuli will be remembered for his unalloyed dedication and strenuous efforts towards the development and wellbeing of the United Republic of Tanzania and its people”
He finally hoped that “the Almighty Allah grant You and the Government and People of the United Republic of Tanzania, strength and fortitude at this time of mourning.” (SPS)
