SPLA continues attacks on positions of Moroccan occupation forces

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 22 January 2020 (SPS) - The units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) continued its attacks on the positions and entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces along the sand wall for the 70th consecutive day, the Sahrawi Defense Ministry said Thursday in a communiqué.
According to the communiqué no 70 quoted by the Sahrawi news agency SPS, “the forces of the Sahrawi army conducted yesterday a series of heavy attacks targeting the concentration positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in several regions, notably in the region Raous Benameyra (sector of Farsiya).”
On Thursday, the military communiqué said that “the units of the Sahrawi army carried out heavy bombings on positions of the Moroccan royal army in several areas, notably in the sectors of Auserd and Oum Amdrika.
“A heavy bombing targeted the regions of Acherk Sadra (sector of Kalta) and Oum Dokn (sector of Bakkari), in addition to the region of Agueraret Farsik (sector of Mahbes),” added the source.
