SPLA continues attacks on Moroccan military bases

Bir Lahlou, 4 January 2021 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi Poeple’s Liberation Army (SPLA) continued, on Friday and Saturday, their attacks targteing the Moroccan military forces, behind the wall of shame, said Saturday the Sahrawi Defence Ministry in a Communiqué.
In its military statement n 51, the ministry said that the "Sahrawi Army on Saturday targeted positions of the Moroccan occupation army in the zone of Lemkiteb (sector of Houza), the zone of Emguelli El Guaa (sector of Emguella)".
"The units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army have also carried out bombardments against Moroccan positions in the region of Emguelli Etemet (sector of Emguella), the region of Sbkhet El Akriche (sector of Smara) and the region of Aoudi Assafa (sector of Smara)," added the ministry.
Moreover, the "Sahrawi army targeted Moroccan military positions in the region of Legued (twice in the sector of Mehbes), the region of Aoudi Amrekba (the sector of Mehbes) and the region of Letherathiyet (the sector of Guelta)".
The ministry added that "the army also carried out bombings on Friday against Moroccan positions in the Lehricha zone (Houza sector).
The Sahrawi Defense Ministry stressed that the "attacks by the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army fighters continued to target the military occupation sites, which suffered further human and material loss along the wall" . (SPS)
