El Aaiun (Occupied Territories), Dec. 2, 2016 (SPS) – The investigating judge of the court of appeal in the occupied city of El Aaiun referred Tuesday young Sahrawi Saeed Ayoub, 18, to the local prison in the city, after he was arrested on Sunday along with other young Sahrawi Mohamed Bouamoud, who was released hours after the arbitrary arrest.
Young Sahrawi Saeed Ayoub was referred to prison after a quarrel broke out between patrols of Moroccan police and Sahrawi youth group, who wanted to demonstrate  peacefully  to demand the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination in the neighbourhood of Eduirat  in the occupied city of El Aaiun.
According to human rights source, the family of young Sahrawi Saeed Ayoub affirmed that their son was subjected to physical and emotional torture by officers and members of the Moroccan judicial police during his arrest on a public street and forcing him onto a police car, as well as inside judicial police headquarters.
