Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), April 27, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, congratulated his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, on the occasion of South Africa's National Day, celebrated on April 27.
In his congratulatory message, the President of the Republic expressed his wishes for continued progress, prosperity, and peace for South Africa and its people.
He emphasized that the commemoration of this day marks a historic moment, not only for South Africa but for all of Africa and the world, as it symbolized the end of the odious apartheid system.
The President of the Republic also praised South Africa’s strong and courageous stance in support of the just Sahrawi cause.
Furthermore, he reaffirmed the Sahrawi Republic’s firm commitment to strengthening the deep bonds of cooperation, friendship, and solidarity between the two nations and peoples.
