Freedom March reaches Catalonia, its first stop in Spain

Catalonia (Spain), April 27, 2025 (SPS) – The Freedom March for the release of Sahrawi political prisoners arrived in Catalonia, Spain, its first stop in the city of Girona, on its way to Kenitra, Morocco.

Upon arrival in Girona, the march was welcomed by a large crowd of Sahrawi community members and several supportive Spanish organizations. A solidarity rally was held, featuring speeches reaffirming their backing, support, and solidarity with the Freedom March.
