Havana (Cuba), February 12, 2025 (SPS) - The Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Mr. Mohamed Mouloud Mohamed Fadel, was received by the Cuban Minister of Education, Ms. Naima Ariatne Trujillo.
The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the International Conference on Pedagogy 2025 held in the Cuban capital, Havana, discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the development and continuity of existing joint programs between the two countries in this area, emphasizing their governments' commitment to enhancing and expanding scientific and academic cooperation, given the special importance of education as a powerful means to realize the aspirations of peoples, embody their ambitions, and defend their sovereignty in a world full of challenges.
The meeting was attended on the Sahrawi side by Omar Boulsan, the accredited ambassador to Cuba, and on the Cuban side by the directors and advisors responsible for foreign relations and cooperation in the Ministry of Education.
