Algiers, February 3, 2025 (SPS) - A Sahrawi delegation was received today, Monday, by the Minister of Youth responsible for the Algerian High Council of Youth, Mr. Mustafa Haidawi, at the Council's headquarters in Algiers.
The meeting comes in preparation for the fourth edition of the Global Youth Forum in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, which will be hosted by Algeria in October 2025, under the patronage of the Algerian President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
During the meeting, the President of the Algerian High Council of Youth emphasized the deep historical relations between Algeria and the Sahrawi people, stressing Algeria's readiness to provide all necessary support to ensure this edition is exceptional in its content and organization, especially as it supports one of the vital causes that the Algerian government and people believe in, which is the Sahrawi cause.
For his part, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Sahrawi Embassy in Algeria praised the effective role that Algeria plays in defending the rights of the Sahrawi people, expressing appreciation for the efforts of the High Council of Youth in promoting African and international youth solidarity with the Sahrawi cause.
