Shaheed Al-Hafed, December 25, 2024 (SPS) - An Algerian student delegation representing the National Voice of Algerian Students will as from Wednesday embark on a visit of work and solidarity to the Sahrawi refugee camps and the institutions of the Sahrawi state.
This visit, titled "Sons of Boumediene Lead Today's Struggle," is part of the celebrations commemorating the anniversary of the passing of the late leader Houari Boumediene, and it will also participate in the Sahrawi Solidarity Social Forum, where members of the delegation will engage in the workshops presented at the forum.
The delegation will listen to presentations from Sahrawi government and Polisario Front officials, including a speech from the Minister of Educationand Vocational Training, Khatri Adouh, and the presidential advisor for political affairs, Bashir Mustafa Sayed, regarding the Sahrawi people's struggle and the construction of their institutions.
The delegation will also witness the significant role played by women in Sahrawi society and their substantial contributions to building institutions and developing policies.
Additionally, the delegation will closely learn about the Sahrawi state’s experience in institutional building, attend a workshop on Sahrawi culture, and hold meetings with national figures and citizens from various sectors.
