London (United Kingdom), November 24, 2024 (SPS) - On Saturday, the Annual Conference of the Forum of Solidarity Associations with the Sahrawi People, known as WSAF, was held at the Teachers Union headquarters in London.
The event was attended by representative of the Polisario Front in the UK, presidents of the associations, members of the Sahrawi community in the UK, journalists, teachers, and supporters of the Palestinian cause and other just causes.
During the meeting, the fieldwork of the forum was assessed, along with future work programs and coordination between the solidarity associations and the Polisario Front's representation in London, as well as the involvement the Sahrawi community in the UK.
Working committees were formed to discuss initiatives and projects for the upcoming year.
The forum featured several interventions and an extensive discussion, with contributions from supporters, trade unionists, and members of the Sahrawi community in the UK.
Participants agreed on the importance of intensifying efforts to ensure a strong presence of the national cause across all circles in the UK, including the media and political class.
