New York (United States), September 27, 2024 (SPS) - On the sidelines of the 79th regular session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Mohamed Sidiati, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Thursday with his Algerian counterpart, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad.
During the meeting, the two ministers exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest in Africa and internationally.
The Sahrawi Foreign Minister is accompanied during the current session of the United Nations General Assembly by Dr. Sidi Mohamed Omar, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, representative of the Polisario Front to the United Nations and coordinator with MINURSO, and Mr. Maaoulainin Salama, advisor to the Polisario Front's representation at the United Nations.
