Algiers, July 25, 2024 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat, Sahrawi Ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, participated, along with a delegation from the Summer University of the Sahrawi Republic's Cadres, held in Boumerdes, in the International Seminar on the African Dimension of the Algerian Revolution and the importance of the shared collective memory.
The seminar was supervised by the Algerian Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders Mr. Laïd Rebigua, in the presence of a number of personalities from Angola, Madagascar, South Africa and other personalities whose countries played a major role in liberating African countries from colonialism.
The seminar witnessed presentations and lectures that focused on the liberation of Africa and support for the Sahrawi and Palestinian causes, and the pivotal role of Algeria in defending the African continent and the interests of its peoples, in order to remain free and independent politically, economically and culturally, in light of regional and international challenges.
The participants in the seminar called for completing the liberation of Africa and supporting and backing the independence of the Sahrawi and Palestinian peoples.
The Sahrawi ambassador to Algeria, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, highlighted in his speech the importance of this seminar, which evokes the bright history of Africa and its historical leaders through the presence of some of the sons of these African leaders who helped in liberating and defending the African continent.
The ambassador praised Algeria's efforts in defending liberation issues in various international forums.
