Rome (Italy) May 24, 2024 (SPS) - The representative of the Polisario Front in Italy organized yesterday the fourth seminar on colonialism under the theme “Colonialism is action and thought” via video conferencing technology.
The seminar, which was supervised by the representative of the Polisario Front in Italy, Mrs. Fatemtu Hafdalla, was attended by the member of the National Secretariat, the Ambassador in charge of Europe and the European institutions, Mr. Mansour Omar, Chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Group for Friendship with the Sahrawi People, in addition to Italian political and media figures.
The event also was attended by prominent figures from the Italian Movement in Solidarity with the Just Cause of the Sahrawi People, which included parliamentarians, the “Sahrawi Network,” as well as intellectuals and activists in solidarity from various sectors of Italian society.
The seminar discussed various forms of anti-colonialism, observations on deception and colonialism, colonial reflections on United Nations institutions and the colonial trap in the Western Sahara conflict.
