Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), May 8, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Republic presented its experience in the field of local health, during its participation in the country meeting supervised by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in cooperation with UNICEF.
During the meeting, which lasts until May 11, the Sahrawi delegation made a presentation on the unique Sahrawi experience in providing primary care and utilizing health centers to implement certain programs that the Ministry of Public Health relies on at the local level.
The Sahrawi Republic was represented by a delegation from the Ministry of Public Health, which included Sidi Omar, Director of Prevention, Bachir Saleh, Director of Training and Studies Department, Takbir Ahmed Qaed Saleh, Director of Africa Department, and Aiza Hussein, Director of Health Statistics Department.
