Shaheed Hafed, April 20, 2024 (SPS) - Ms. Abbas Hjira, Deputy President of the Algerian National People's Assembly for the National Construction Movement, reiterated her country's full support for the struggle of the Sahrawi people to achieve their legitimate goals of freedom and independence.
The Algerian official affirmed during her speech on the sidelines of the Arab International Conference in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, held at the headquarters of the Sahrawi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 17th and 18th, the standing of Algeria, its people, government, and elite, alongside the Sahrawi people until their independence is achieved.
The speaker mentioned that her party is keen on preserving the legacy of the martyrs and defending their principles in supporting liberation movements. She further emphasized the importance of the friendship and brotherhood relations that bind the Algerian and Sahrawi peoples, which have been established on solid foundations strengthened by deep brotherly ties, revolutionary values, and a shared history of struggle for complete liberation from colonization.
