Algeria, March 28, 2024 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat, Ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, received a delegation from the Algerian Guidance and Reform Association led by Mr. Mahdi Bouhajar, Vice President of the Association, which is one of the Algerian associations working in the humanitarian field for more than 33 years. This association has previously provided humanitarian aid to the Sahrawi people.
On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Algerian Guidance and Reform Association will organize a humanitarian convoy to the Sahrawi refugee camps carrying food and humanitarian supplies in the coming days.
The members of the delegation affirmed their solidarity and support for the Sahrawi people and their just cause.
For his part, the Ambassador thanked the humanitarian efforts of the Guidance and Reform Association, appreciating this humanitarian initiative and others aimed at supporting and assisting Sahrawi refugees and expressing solidarity with them.
