Boujdour, February 14, 2024 (SPS)- The Secretary-General of the Sahrawi Women's Union, Mrs. Shaba Sini Embarek, received a delegation from the Swedish organization “Björkåfrihet”, at the headquarters of the Sahrawi Women's Union in the Wilaya of Boujdour.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General of the Sahrawi Women’s Union provided the delegation with explanations about the establishment of the Women’s organization and its objectives within the framework of promoting Sahrawi women’s presence at all levels, politically, economically and socially.
The membership of the Sahrawi Women’s Union in international women's organizations was also discussed, through which the organization sheds light on the reality of Sahrawi women and spreads awareness about the Sahrawi people and their legitimate struggle through its participation in international forums.
During the meeting, The Secretary General of the Sahrawi Women's Union was accompanied by the head of the Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Department, and the director of the office of the SG.
