Oran (Algeria), August 28, 2026 (SPS) – A delegation from the Sahrawi Workers’ Union (UGTSARIO) is participating in the activities of the Summer Journalism University on “Narrative Wars,” hosted by Algeria’s Oran Province.
The delegation comprises the UGTSARIO Secretary-General, Nafei Ahmed Mohamed, and the Secretary-General of the Sahrawi Union of Journalists, Writers and Authors, Mohamed Al-Taqi Al-Talhi.
The Sahrawi delegation delivered a speech during the opening ceremony, congratulating the Algerian National Organization of Journalists on this important initiative aimed at confronting propaganda campaigns and psychological warfare.
The delegation is also expected to deliver a lecture entitled “Digital Narratives and Ways to Counter Hostile and Malicious Propaganda Wars and Their Methods.”
