Material losses caused by rainfall in wilaya of Dakhla

Wilaya of Dakhla, 26 March 2026 (SPS) – The wilaya Dakhla witnessed Tuesday and Wednesday sharp weather fluctuations in the form of heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds.

This required urgent intervention by the provincial authorities, which intensified their efforts to control the situation and prevent further damage.

Civil Protection units, intervention forces from special units, and the National Gendarmerie carried out operations to pump out rainwater that had accumulated inside homes, in order to prevent any potential damage to the infrastructure, which has already suffered considerable damage due to the rainfall.
