Zaragoza (Spain), 25 March 2026 (SPS) – A delegation from Tifariti University, led by the university’s rector, Mr. Moulay Mhamed Ibrahim, and Mr. Mohamed Saeed in charge of external relations, delivered an awareness conference on higher education in the Sahrawi Republic at the University of Zaragoza, Spain, in the presence of the authorities of the University of Zaragoza, professors, researchers, and students, in addition to a delegation from the Parliament of the Aragon region.
The conference addressed a detailed explanation of the policy of the Sahrawi state in the field of higher education and the training of Sahrawi students in various fields, in coordination with the state and with friendly and supportive universities, which has resulted in the graduation of thousands of students from different international universities.
The lecture also discussed in detail Tifariti University since its establishment by highlighting the context of its creation and the objectives it seeks to achieve at both the academic and diplomatic levels. It also presented an explanation of its structure, its external relations, and its future plans based on its strategic plan, which focuses on major priorities, foremost among them developing regulations for distance education, promoting scientific research, and building international relations with universities and research centers.
