Shaheed El-Hafed, 24 March 2026 (SPS) – As part of the preparations for the upcoming congress of the International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY), the Student Union Organization (UESARIO) has announced its candidacy for one of the Vice President positions representing the African Committee.
The Turkish city of Istanbul is expected to host the proceedings of this congress from 26 to 29 March, with broad participation representing more than 110 countries from different parts of the world, in a competitive atmosphere that reflects the values and principles of cooperation, justice, and democracy.
This candidacy is of great importance in strengthening the presence of the Sahrawi national cause within international student and youth circles, by expanding awareness of it and defending it in various organizational forums, thereby contributing to supporting its just path and consolidating its position on the global stage.
