Rome, March 14 (SPS) – A delegation of Italian volunteers took part in the solidarity mission “Travelers of Utopia 2026” in the Sahrawi refugee camps, with the aim of strengthening international cooperation and raising awareness about the humanitarian situation of the Sahrawi people.
The initiative, organized by the Italian association Città Visibili APS, brought together healthcare professionals, social workers, and students who carried out social and medical support activities, in addition to holding meetings with refugee families.
During the mission, an electrocardiograph was delivered to the hospital in the Wilaya of Auserd, along with medical supplies to strengthen health services.
The delegation stressed the importance of maintaining international cooperation and continuing to support educational, health, and social projects in the Sahrawi refugee camps.
