Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), February 13, 2026 (SPS) – The Minister of Public Health, Salek Baba Hasana, and the Minister of Economic and Financial Affairs, Mohamed Mouloud Mohamed Fadel, have arrived in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to participate in continental meetings related to their respective portfolios.
The two ministers are taking part in the High-Level Dialogue between the Finance and Health sectors on health security and sovereignty in Africa.
This participation comes within the context of the active presence of the Sahrawi Republic within the institutions of the African Union and its commitment to contributing to continental discussions related to sustainable development and the strengthening of health security, in line with the principles of African solidarity and joint action to address shared challenges.
The Sahrawi ministerial presence at this meeting represents an important opportunity to present the Sahrawi experience in managing the institutions of the Sahrawi state, as well as an occasion to exchange expertise with counterparts. It also constitutes a significant contribution to continental efforts aimed at consolidating the idea of African unity through joint projects across various ministerial sectors.
