Shaheed El-Hafed, 21 December 2025 (SPS) – The Minister of Public Health, Salek Baba Hassena, Sunday received a medical mission from the Spanish region of Murcia, specializing in general surgery, pediatric surgery, and plastic surgery.
Over the past few days, the medical mission has worked in various regional hospitals, where it conducted numerous medical examinations for different age groups, as well as performing surgical operations at the health complex. This took place within the framework of medical missions coming from Spain as part of the relations of friendship and cooperation that link them with the Sahrawi people.
The Minister of Public Health briefed the medical mission on the situation of the Sahrawi cause and its latest developments, as well as the challenges facing the health sector, particularly in light of the shortage of funding for health projects in the Sahrawi refugee camps.
