Shaheed El Hafed, 14 December 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, stressed that the Sahrawi people are fully aware of the scale of the challenges and conspiracies being plotted against them, affirming that these schemes will rebound on their perpetrators with disappointment and failure, and that the awareness and unity of the Sahrawis will constitute the impenetrable barrier against all conspiracies.
In a guiding address delivered while chairing a meeting of Sahrawi State and Polisario Front executives at the Presidency of the Republic, President Brahim Ghali indicated that the Sahrawi people are facing a fierce offensive on all fronts, noting that the steadfastness of the Sahrawi people and their readiness to make sacrifices are the rock upon which the enemy’s attacks and conspiracies will be shattered.
The President pointed out that the Moroccan occupation has failed utterly in its attempt to push through its thesis within the UN Security Council with the help of its allies, adding that it is making strenuous efforts to distort the struggle of the Sahrawi people.
President Brahim Ghali emphasized that the current phase, during which the Sahrawi people are preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi State, requires steadfastness, the unification of efforts, and the consolidation of the gains achieved in various fields.
In the same context, the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front provided an assessment in light of the current circumstances marked by instability on the international scene.
At the European level, the President condemned the agreement concluded between the European Commission and Morocco, denouncing the biased positions of France and the Spanish government.
At the African level, despite various attempts—President Brahim Ghali noted—the standing of the Sahrawi Republic remains recognized and effective as an active and founding member of the African Union.
At the regional level, President Brahim Ghali praised the solidarity positions enjoyed by the Sahrawi cause, while commending Algeria’s steadfast stance on the Sahrawi issue and its defense of international legitimacy.
