Algeria, 05 December 2025 (SPS) — The Directorate of Traditional Industries and Crafts under the Ministry of Economic Development is participating in the International Sahara Tourism Festival in the Algerian province of Timimoun.
The Sahrawi Republic is present with a diverse exhibition of traditional crafts, represented by a group of Sahrawi artisans, cooperatives, and workshops affiliated with the Directorate of Traditional Industries and Crafts at the Ministry of Economic Development.
The Sahrawi participation provided an important opportunity to showcase Sahrawi traditional crafts in their cultural and economic dimensions.
The Sahrawi pavilion also attracted visitors from various participating countries, who expressed their admiration for the distinctiveness of Sahrawi traditional industries, which reflect the unique identity of the people of Western Sahara compared to other countries around the world.
