Moroccan occupation authorities transfer Sahrawi civilian prisoner to unknown location

Kenitra (Morocco), 12 November 2025 (SPS) – The Moroccan occupation authorities have transferred Sahrawi civilian prisoner Abdullah Lakhfaouni to an unknown location, according to a Sahrawi human rights source.

The same source indicated that the transfer of prisoner Abdullah Lakhfaouni came as a result of his decision to begin a warning hunger strike.

Sahrawi civilian prisoner Abdullah Al-Wali Lakhfaouni, a member of the Gdeim Izik group, launched a 48-hour warning hunger strike on Wednesday to denounce the policy of deliberate medical neglect and to protest the confiscation of his basic and legitimate rights, according to same source.
