Paris (France), October 9, 2025 (SPS) – The French Farmers’ Union received a delegation from the General Union of Sahrawi Workers (UGTSARIO), led by Secretary General Mr. Nafei Ahmed Mohamed, accompanied by Mr. Mohamed Salem Hamma, in charge of international relations and the diaspora.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations between the two organizations, particularly on strengthening specialized cooperation efforts and the union of Sahrawi farmers.
The meeting, which took place as part of a European tour by the Sahrawi labor delegation, allowed both parties to discuss the grave implications of the temporary agreement signed between the European Union and Morocco, which unjustly includes Sahrawi lands and territorial waters. This agreement contradicts clear rulings by the European Court of Justice.
The two unions agreed on a joint action roadmap that enables the exchange of expertise and experiences and strengthens bilateral.
The Sahrawi labor delegation is continuing its European tour, during which it has held meetings with unions in several European countries and is conducting a series of specialized sessions with various French labor organizations.
