Montevideo (Uruguay) September 8, 2024 (SPS) – Mr. Sebastián Valdomir, Speaker of the House of Representatives, received Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, Minister of State, Diplomatic Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic, Personal Envoy of the President of the Republic, and Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali.
During their talks, the two sides discussed the developments of the Sahrawi issue, the bilateral relations between the two countries, and the multifaceted challenges facing the world today.
This meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Legislative Palace in the capital, was attended by parliamentarians and officials from the Foreign Affairs Committee, as well as the Sahrawi Ambassador to the Republic of Uruguay, Chibani Abbas.
