Abdelkader Taleb Omar meets with several heads of delegations and leaders of political parties participating in African Political Parties Summit

Accra (Ghana), August 13, 2025 (SPS) – Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, a member of the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, met with several leaders of political parties and heads of delegations participating in the African Political Parties Summit, held in Accra under the theme "From Politics to Prosperity: Strengthening Party Cooperation for Development and Economic Transformation in Africa."

On Wednesday, Abdelkader Taleb Omar met with representatives of political parties from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Mauritius, Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Comoros, as well as the Vice President of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties and a former minister from Pakistan.

He also held meetings with Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister, the Special Envoy of the South African President to the African Political Parties Summit, the Executive Director of the African Political Parties Summit, and the leader of Algeria’s Future Front party.

During these discussions, Abdelkader Taleb Omar explored cooperation relations between the Polisario Front and these parties, along with ways to strengthen them in support of mutual interests—particularly in areas that promote development, prosperity, and stability.

The meetings also addressed the importance of the topics being discussed at the African Political Parties Summit.

Meanwhile, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar is participating in the African Political Parties Summit, hosted in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, from August 11 to 15, as the representative of the Secretary-General of the Front and President of the Republic, Mr. Brahim Ghali.
