Accra (Ghana), August 12, 2025 (SPS) – The Polisario Front is participating in the African Political Parties Summit, held in Ghana’s capital, Accra, from August 12 to 14, 2025, at the International Conference Center. The Polisario Front’s delegation is headed by Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, member of the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat and head of the Social Committee of the National Secretariat.
The summit is held under the theme: "From Politics to Prosperity: Strengthening Inter-Party Collaboration for Africa's Development and Economic Transformation."
The event aligns with the commitment of political parties to foster dialogue, strengthen strategic partnerships at the continental level, and advance the African Union’s Agenda 2063, contributing to sustainable development and building a prosperous, secure Africa that transcends ideological and partisan divisions.
The summit brings together political leaders, civil society representatives, academics from across Africa, and regional and international organizations to exchange perspectives on development requirements, peacebuilding, and good governance in the continent.
During his participation, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar held meetings with several heads of delegations, briefing them on the latest developments in the Sahrawi cause and other issues of mutual concern.
