Mexico City, 10 October 2026 (SPS) – Representing the Polisario Front, Sahrawi Ambassador to Latin America and the Caribbean Mohamed Zroug held bilateral meetings with representatives of political organizations and social movements from Latin America and the Caribbean on the sidelines of the 30th International Seminar “Political Parties and a New Society”, held in Mexico City.
The meetings provided an opportunity to review the latest developments concerning the Sahrawi question, strengthen solidarity with the Sahrawi people’s struggle and their right to self-determination and independence, and explore ways to enhance cooperation and coordination with political and social forces supporting the Sahrawi cause.
The discussions underscored the importance of continued joint efforts to defend the Sahrawi people’s right to freedom and self-determination and to strengthen the presence of their cause on regional and international political agendas.
These meetings form part of the Polisario Front’s efforts to consolidate relations with solidarity movements in Latin America and the Caribbean and broaden international support for the Sahrawi cause.
