Shaheed El Hafed, August 15, 2026 (SPS) – President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, chaired a meeting of the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat today, Saturday, devoted to discussing the latest developments concerning the national cause, both internally and externally.
The meeting reviewed preparations for convening the 10th ordinary session of the National Secretariat, as well as an assessment of the national events and activities that have taken place recently, including the 5th Congress of the Union of Students of Saguia el-Hamra and Rio de Oro, participation in the World Social Forum held in the Beninese capital, Cotonou, the Summer University for Sahrawi Executives in Algeria, as well as summer programs for Sahrawi children in Algeria and the beginning of the return of children who benefited from the Vacations in Peace program.
The meeting also listened to presentations on the latest developments concerning the national cause on the external front.
