Nouakchott (Mauritania), July 13, 2026 (SPS) – Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, was received on Monday by the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Nouakchott.
During the meeting, Abdelkader Taleb Omar conveyed the greetings of President Brahim Ghali to his brother, President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and delivered a fraternal message from the Sahrawi President. The message forms part of the ongoing communication between the leaders of the two countries and reflects their shared commitment to strengthening the tradition of consultation and coordination.
The meeting also reviewed the latest developments concerning the Sahrawi cause, as well as bilateral relations between the Sahrawi Republic and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
