Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), July 4, 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan occupation positions and fortifications in the Amhaibes Ramt area of the Mahbes sector.
According to a military communiqué issued by the Ministry of National Defence, advanced units of the Sahrawi army carried out a concentrated bombardment on Thursday night, targeting the headquarters of a brigade of the Moroccan Royal Army in the Amhaibes Ramt area of the Mahbes sector.
Earlier, on Tuesday evening, advanced units of the SPLA launched another concentrated attack against enemy positions and defensive fortifications in the Amgala Dchera area of the Amgala sector.
The communiqué added that the SPLA continues to intensify its military operations, targeting various positions and deployments of the Moroccan occupation forces along the defensive sand wall, including support bases, command posts, and logistical facilities. It stated that these attacks have inflicted significant human and material losses on the occupying forces as part of the ongoing war of attrition until the Sahrawi people achieve their full aspirations for freedom, independence, and sovereignty.
