Shaheed El Hafed, May 7, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received on Thursday at the Presidency the newly elected leadership of the National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW), following the organization’s 10th Congress held at the end of last April in the wilaya of Auserd.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Republic praised the tremendous efforts made under these exceptional circumstances, pointing to the scale of the national responsibility and the weight of the struggle-related tasks that require the women’s organization to unite efforts and work to confront the enemy’s conspiracies and thwart its plans.
He congratulated the new leadership of the National Union of Sahrawi Women, calling on it to work towards supporting the achievements and gains of the Sahrawi people and to carry out its assigned tasks in the fields of guidance, mobilization, and awareness-raising in order to win the battle of nation-building and national liberation.
